Faculty

Jennie E. Brand is a Professor of Sociology and Statistics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is Co-Director of the Center for Social Statistics (CSS) at UCLA and President of the Association of Population Centers (APC).

Ian Lundberg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at UCLA and faculty affiliate at the California Center for Population Research.

**Xiang Zhou**
Xiang Zhou is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Harvard University. He is also a Faculty Affiliate at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science, Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies, and Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies.

**Xi Song**
Xi Song is a Professor of Sociology and a faculty member of the Graduate Group in Demography at University of Pennsylvania, where she is also the Computing Core Director of the Population Studies Center.

Bo-Wei Hu is a Presidential Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Princeton University. He received his Ph.D in Sociology at UCLA in 2025.
